No signal
Running tickets when the job site has no signal
The pit does not care that the phone has no bars.
What happens when the pit has no signal?
Pits and haul roads drop calls. Clock events and GPS points stay in an offline queue on the phone and send when a connection is available.
That queue is on the dump truck ticketing app page.
Does the ticket photo wait offline too?
No. The offline queue is for clock events and GPS points. It does not hold ticket photos.
Does GPS keep running with no signal?
GPS runs only while the driver is clocked in, in the foreground and in the background. Those GPS points can wait in the offline queue. The owner live map is coming soon. It is not how the app shows location.
